Rahim Kassam is the Executive Director, Delegation of the Ismaili Imamat in Portugal. He holds a BSc in Economics and a post-graduation in Economics and Public Policies from the Lisbon University Institute (ISCTE). He works at the Delegation of the Ismaili Imamat in Portugal in 2013 as Executive Director, being responsible for contributing to the strengthening of relations between the Ismaili Imamat and the Portuguese Republic and also to promote the activities of the Aga Khan Development Network agencies in Portugal and in Portuguese-speaking countries. He previously worked at the Ismaili Council for Portugal as Finance Officer and Executive Officer. Past experiences include collaborations with the Portuguese Commercial Bank (BCP – currently Millenium Bank), the Tax Authority and the ISCTE Economics’ research department.
